Assembled is a unified platform that orchestrates human agents and AI at scale for customer support operations. Used by companies like Canva, Etsy, and Robinhood, the platform coordinates in-house agents, BPOs, and AI in a single operating system. The company is backed by $71M from NEA, Emergence Capital, and Stripe.
As Senior Customer Marketing Manager, you will build and own Assembled's customer marketing program from the ground up. This role centers on capturing and amplifying the voice of the customer across all company touchpoints—from launch announcements to sales calls to the homepage.
Key responsibilities include: owning the customer voice system by synthesizing insights from interviews, reviews, win/loss analysis, and support themes; running the customer story engine with case studies, video, quotes, and speaking opportunities on a production calendar; designing customer-centric campaigns including lifecycle programs, events, and awards; managing advocacy and references end-to-end for the sales team; partnering on product launches to integrate customer proof into narratives; extending into partner and creator marketing; and reporting on program impact including pipeline influenced, stories in active use, references sourced, and advocacy participation.
You will work directly with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and founders on a scrappy, creative marketing team. The role offers room to stretch into product launches, partner co-marketing, and influencer relationships. Success requires moving fast, building AI workflows for daily use, and taking real ownership.
Required experience: 4-7 years in customer marketing, product marketing, or both at a high-growth company, with demonstrated ability to build programs from scratch. You need strong storytelling and campaign thinking skills, program-building discipline with trackers and calendars, ability to secure customer participation and approvals, demonstrated AI workflow building (not just chat usage), genuine curiosity about customer motivations, and comfort operating without a playbook as priorities shift.
This is a full-time, onsite role based in San Francisco or New York City, five days a week (Monday–Friday).
