Nox Metals is a technology-enabled metals supplier serving aerospace and defense manufacturers across the US, with operations in Metro Detroit and Los Angeles. The company combines software, automation, and logistics to deliver aluminum plate, bar, and rounds faster than traditional industry incumbents. As Product Manager for Customer & Commercial, you will own the end-to-end product roadmap for customer-facing and internal commercial workflows—from quote generation through order fulfillment. Your mission is to make buying metal dramatically easier for customers while equipping the sales team with better tools and clearer information. Key responsibilities: - Own and prioritize the roadmap for customer-facing and commercial software, balancing customer needs with business impact - Conduct customer interviews and shadow sales workflows to identify real bottlenecks and pain points - Translate customer and business problems into clear, actionable product requirements - Partner closely with design, engineering, sales, pricing, and operations teams to ship improvements - Define success metrics and measure user behavior and business outcomes post-launch - Run focused experiments and use results to inform roadmap decisions - Keep stakeholders aligned on decisions, tradeoffs, and delivery timelines - Focus on improving existing workflows and processes, not just launching new features - Develop enough domain knowledge in metals and manufacturing to make sound product decisions You are customer-obsessed and commercially minded, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to dig beneath feature requests to find root causes. You communicate clearly and concisely, are comfortable working with data while recognizing its limitations, and can make decisive calls with incomplete information. You build trust across cross-functional teams and are organized, accountable, and outcome-focused. You have genuine curiosity about complex operational businesses. Nice-to-have experience includes B2B commerce, quoting, pricing, or sales software; manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or supply chain operations; technical fluency with APIs and data models; and comfort using AI tools for research and analysis. The role is full-time, in-person in Los Angeles. Equity participation is included.
