xAI is seeking a Creator & Community Program Lead to own the communications and community strategy for Grok Imagine, an AI-driven media product. This is a hands-on role that bridges product capability, creator adoption, and brand building. You will own the full lifecycle of creator and community communications: designing and executing outreach that converts product capability into visible proof and creator adoption; building and shipping product-showcase content across owned channels; designing and running influencer programs that balance awareness reach with credibility-building partnerships; building relationships with production houses, studios, and creative teams to integrate Grok Imagine into real editorial and post-production workflows; managing external production vendors (bidding, contracts, QA) in partnership with creative leads; and tracking competitive positioning and measuring which communications actually drive adoption. The role operates within a small, flat organization where all employees are hands-on contributors. You'll work directly alongside product, research, design, and engineering teams in a high-velocity environment. Success requires strong editorial judgment, the ability to turn product capability into credible stories, and the capacity to build a feedback loop from community back into the product. QUALIFICATIONS: Required: - Proven experience leading communications, creator partnerships, or community programs for consumer or creator-facing products, with shipped showcases, tutorials, case studies, or creator programs that moved people from curiosity to practice - Hands-on operator capable of writing briefs, running outreach, shipping content calendars, managing vendors, and standing up curation and rights-clearance pipelines independently - Experience working with creators, influencers, or professional media practitioners, with judgment about reach versus credibility - Excellent written and verbal communication skills; precision with internal partners and compelling external communication - Strong editorial judgment and clear standards for brand output - Comfort operating in small, high-velocity teams Preferred: - Background in AI-driven media, generative tools, or creative software - Experience running both broad-reach influencer programs and credibility-building partnerships with working professionals - Familiarity with production, post-production, or studio workflows and how new tools integrate into them - Experience managing agencies or production vendors end-to-end - Analytics-informed content practice using performance data to inform cadence, format mix, and spend - Demonstrated taste in visual and motion media with a point of view on professional generative work - Prior experience repositioning a product's public perception from novelty to working tool Note: ITAR compliance required — applicant must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee, or be eligible to obtain required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
