OpenAI's Creative Partnerships team is seeking an experienced partnerships leader to develop and scale high-touch onboarding and enablement experiences for creators, brands, and institutions. This role bridges external partners with internal OpenAI teams, translating product capabilities into creative possibilities while gathering actionable feedback to inform product development and company strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define strategy, partner journey, operating model, and quality standards for high-touch onboarding, creating clear pathways from introduction through long-term engagement.
- Design and lead tailored onboarding sessions, workshops, product demonstrations, and ongoing enablement for creators, brands, and institutions.
- Develop authentic use cases aligned with each partner's creative goals, audiences, and values, turning early experimentation into compelling examples.
- Serve as a consistent, trusted point of contact for partners, anticipating needs and providing thoughtful support with discretion and care.
- Partner with internal teams to explore broader collaborations with strong mutual value and authentic alignment.
- Bring actionable product feedback, emerging behaviors, creative workflows, and cultural insights to Product, Research, Marketing, Communications, Policy, and other teams.
- Create feedback loops demonstrating to partners how their perspectives are heard and acted upon.
- Develop playbooks, enablement materials, partner briefs, and reusable resources that balance personalized engagement with scalable systems.
- Establish clear ownership and handoffs across Partnerships, Product, Marketing, Communications, Legal, Policy, and Support as the program scales.
- Define and track meaningful success metrics including partner engagement, time to activation, depth of use, relationship health, actionable product feedback, and partnership outcomes.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in creator or talent partnerships, strategic partnerships, platform partnerships, product enablement, client services, or another highly relationship-driven field.
- Experience supporting creators, brands, or other high-profile partners and their representatives.
- Ability to build exceptional relationships through judgment, discretion, and responsiveness required to earn trust over time.
- Strong cultural fluency and nuanced understanding of how creators, talent, platforms, and communities influence one another.
- Ability to translate complex or emerging technology into clear, relevant, and inspiring possibilities for non-technical audiences.
- Experience developing authentic use cases around partners' real goals rather than applying one-size-fits-all approaches.
- Demonstrated ability to align cross-functional stakeholders, manage dependencies, and create clarity in ambiguous environments.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills for both intimate working sessions and senior/high-profile audiences.
- Hands-on fluency with AI products and curiosity about how they support creative work, expression, and connection.
- Strong program-management discipline, including experience developing workflows, standards, measurement, and scalable resources.
- Comfort moving between highly personalized partner engagement and behind-the-scenes operational work.
- Thoughtful, data-informed approach that distinguishes surface-level engagement from durable trust and genuine partnership potential.
