New Relic is seeking a Creative Director, Visual Design to lead the visual and conceptual identity across all brand touchpoints—from global enterprise marketing campaigns and digital experiences to AI product launches and corporate events. This is a leadership role managing a multi-disciplinary team of designers, copywriters, and multimedia creators while partnering closely with Product Marketing, Growth Marketing, and Executive Leadership. Key responsibilities include: overseeing and evolving New Relic's global visual identity and brand guidelines across digital, print, and experiential mediums; managing and mentoring a talented internal creative team; conceptualizing end-to-end creative directions for multi-channel initiatives including major product launches, global events, and paid media; translating complex technical product capabilities into clear, high-conversion creative assets; balancing hands-on creative mentorship with high-level stakeholder management and executive communication; blending creative intuition with data-driven insights and AI tools to optimize marketing performance; and sourcing and directing external agencies and freelance talent for scaled production. The ideal candidate brings 12+ years of creative experience with 5+ years in a leadership or managerial role, ideally within high-growth SaaS, developer-tooling, or technical B2B enterprise companies. Required qualifications include a world-class portfolio demonstrating expertise in typography, digital and print design, corporate storytelling, video production, and integrated marketing campaigns; innate curiosity about developer culture, AI, and observability infrastructure; ability to deliver highly creative solutions within B2B marketing frameworks; strong project management skills with proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Asana; and exceptional presentation and executive communication abilities. The role requires someone who can turn complex technical concepts into accessible, engaging visuals while maintaining low ego and collaborating effectively across a matrixed organization.
