Dust is an enterprise AI platform that empowers AI Operators at fast-moving companies to rewire how work gets done. Backed by Sequoia with 70%+ weekly active users and customers like Datadog, 1Password, and Cursor, the company is growing rapidly and aiming to 5x growth by end of 2026. As Creative Director, you will define how Dust shows up in the world across website, product launches, campaigns, events, video, and visual systems. You'll own the brand system and identity—setting direction for motion, illustration, typography, video style, and brand guidelines that are both differentiating and enterprise-credible. Key responsibilities include: leading creative execution across all major outputs (website, product launches, GTM assets, social); creating the operating model for brand design (intake, prioritization, review, standards); building and managing a network of freelancers and agencies; and scaling creative with AI by codifying visual identity into guidelines, templates, and reusable components so the team can produce on-brand assets at speed. In your first 6 months, you'll immerse in the brand and product, audit current assets, build a freelancer network, lead creative direction on the updated website by month 3, and refresh brand guidelines with video and motion style by month 6. You're a visual storyteller who leads brand work where narrative comes first. You're hands-on—art-directing videos, pushing pixels on landing pages, and briefing freelancers. You're AI-fluent and treat AI as a core creative toolkit. You've built or scaled creative functions, hired designers, and set standards. You understand what resonates with AI-mature buyers and technical decision-makers. You can work across Paris and US time zones with clear writing and proactive communication. You've worked at or admire companies with strong brand craft like Airbnb, Webflow, Intercom, Linear, or Anthropic. Nice-to-haves: experience refreshing visual identity for fast-growing tech companies, working with founders on brand and launches, strong network of creative collaborators, experience with interactive web experiences or motion systems, and messaging/content strategy depth.
