Base is a next-generation power company deploying distributed battery networks to transform the electrical grid into a resilient, abundant system. We're seeking a Creative Content Specialist to own video projects end-to-end, from concept through final delivery. You'll shoot, edit, and produce a wide range of content including product demos, homeowner stories, installation documentation, interviews, and social media assets. Working independently and collaboratively with the creative and marketing teams, you'll take rough briefs and transform them into compelling narratives. Your responsibilities include: - Own video projects from concept and pre-production through shooting, editing, and delivery - Shoot and direct productions independently across product, homeowner, install, interview, and social content - Edit paid and organic creative for Meta, YouTube, and other channels - Turn ambiguous briefs into strong creative work, making strategic decisions about storytelling and asset requirements - Partner with senior creative leadership on larger campaigns and productions - Work closely with Marketing to develop performance-driven paid creative, testing new concepts, hooks, and formats - Handle production fundamentals including lighting, audio, color, motion, and finishing - Organize footage, project files, and reusable assets to build a valuable content library - Leverage AI and emerging creative tools to move faster and improve quality - Stay current with cultural trends and emerging formats, identifying opportunities for Base This is a hands-on role for someone who moves quickly, has strong creative instincts, and can deliver great work with minimal overhead. Base operates at startup pace with shifting priorities, so your role may expand based on business needs. The company emphasizes in-person collaboration and is all-in on its mission to rebuild the grid. REQUIREMENTS: - Strong portfolio or reel demonstrating both shooting and editing work - 2-4 years of experience independently running shoots and delivering finished assets - Strong editing skills in Premiere Pro; experience with After Effects, Photoshop, or similar tools is a plus - Strong visual instincts and high standards for craft, even under time pressure - Understanding of what makes paid and organic video effective (hooks, pacing, storytelling, conversion) - Ability to work from ambiguous briefs, identify needs, and make creative decisions with minimal oversight - Comfort managing multiple projects, shifting priorities, and fast turnarounds - Hands-on mentality and willingness to assist on larger shoots or execute quick turnaround projects
