iCapital seeks a Vice President of Strategic Finance to join the Corporate Finance team, reporting to the iCapital Solutions Business Controller, Senior Vice President. This role encompasses large-scale financial and managerial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis of key financial and performance indicators across the organization.
Key responsibilities include supporting the budgeting and forecasting of company financial performance indicators with emphasis on revenue, expenses, and GAAP/Non-GAAP metrics. You will develop key financial and performance metrics with detailed analytics for the Management Committee and business leads, liaising with FP&A team members, sales, and business leads to enhance decision-making. The role involves preparing monthly management and quarterly board reporting packages, including consolidation of financial statements, budget vs. actual analysis, variance analysis, and KPI compilation.
Additional responsibilities include performing sales analytics to support business development in the iCapital Solutions department, identifying and assessing opportunities to enhance reporting structures, developing business-specific KPIs and client analytics, and supporting the financial close process. You will also identify and remediate process gaps, implement effective internal controls, and assist with ad hoc projects such as software implementation and financial planning tool deployment.
The ideal candidate brings 9+ years of FP&A, strategic finance, corporate finance, or accounting experience within financial services or at a top-tier firm. Familiarity with private market investments (private equity, hedge funds, structured investments) is preferred. Experience with planning and ERP tools (WorkDay Adaptive, Tableau, Essbase) and Oracle NetSuite or General Ledger systems is desired. Advanced degree or credentials (MBA, CPA, CFA) are preferred. Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, quantitative modeling, problem-solving, and excellent communication are essential.
