iCapital is seeking an Equity Accounting and Reporting Associate to join the Corporate Finance team in Greenwich, Connecticut. This role focuses on stock-based compensation accounting, equity administration, and financial reporting within a rapidly growing, globally distributed organization. Key responsibilities include supporting the monthly accounting for stock-based compensation programs under ASC 718, including stock options, RSUs, and share issuances. You will prepare and maintain stock-based compensation calculations, supporting schedules, valuation assumptions, and expense forecasts. The role involves analyzing equity transactions (grants, modifications, cancellations, exercises, settlements), supporting accounting for equity-related transactions in acquisitions and strategic initiatives, and preparing stock compensation disclosures for financial statements. Additional responsibilities span tax provision support, coordination with HR, Legal, Payroll, and external administrators, equity activity monitoring, share reserve tracking, and capitalization table reconciliations. You will prepare audit-ready documentation across multiple jurisdictions, own audit request trackers end-to-end, maintain jurisdictional filing calendars and compliance trackers, and compile inputs for local regulatory filings. The role also includes coordinating quarterly investor reporting packages, serving as the operational point of contact for year-end investor audit inquiries, maintaining organized filing systems, and owning operational trackers for equity activity, audit status, and vendor management. You will deliver data-driven status updates to senior leadership and identify gaps in tracking infrastructure to propose scalable solutions. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in accounting, 2–5 years of experience in public accounting, corporate accounting, or financial reporting, and exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage multiple workflows simultaneously. Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data modeling, pivot tables, reconciliation) is essential. CPA or CPA candidacy, exposure to ASC 718 and equity transactions, and familiarity with equity management platforms (Carta, Shareworks) are strongly preferred. You must be comfortable operating within controlled environments with defined approval workflows and audit-ready documentation standards, and able to coordinate across Finance, HR, Legal, Payroll, and third-party vendors.
