OneTrust is seeking a Corporate Accountant to support its Finance team in Madrid as the company scales its global operations. The role focuses primarily on payroll accounting while contributing to broader corporate accounting functions and month-end close processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support posting of global payroll journal entries and related accruals (vacation, bonuses, compensation items)
- Reconcile payroll-related balance sheet accounts and assist with payroll flux analysis
- Collaborate with Payroll, HR, and Compensation & Benefits teams to ensure data integrity
- Review and maintain proper coding of transactions; prepare journal entries across corporate accounting areas
- Perform account reconciliations and maintain supporting schedules in accordance with US GAAP
- Support month-end and year-end close activities
- Develop and implement process improvements and document standard operating procedures
- Support external audit requirements
- Partner with finance and other departments on projects including internal reporting improvements
You bring a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, plus 3+ years of accounting and/or audit experience, preferably with public, multinational companies. You have hands-on experience preparing journal entries and account reconciliations. Workday Financials experience is a plus. You are detail-oriented, a strong communicator, adaptable to fast-paced environments, and comfortable handling sensitive information with confidentiality.
OneTrust operates an office-first culture with three days per week in office for most roles, with flexibility depending on position scope.
