As Content Operations QA Analyst (Ocean), you will be the quality gatekeeper ensuring ocean freight data integrity. Your core responsibilities include:
• Quality-check ocean freight contracts, rates, and surcharges by cross-referencing processed data against source rate sheets and tariffs
• Work through a structured queue of contracts with meticulous attention to detail, following QA protocols and documenting findings
• Develop deep understanding of ocean rates, surcharges, and logistics operations to identify anomalies and discrepancies
• Catch and correct errors before customer-facing delivery, maintaining data accuracy that powers customer quoting and business decisions
• Communicate with vendor partners to resolve issues and prevent recurring mistakes
• Identify error patterns and contribute to improving QA processes, documentation, and automated checks
• Leverage AI tools to enhance QA efficiency and contribute to tool development where possible
• Maintain structured, high-quality master data across the ocean content dataset
The role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong Excel/Google Sheets proficiency, fluent English for international vendor collaboration, and the ability to work independently through high-volume structured workflows. Experience with AI tools is valued. Logistics, freight forwarding, or shipping background is a bonus but not required.
