Digitail is a veterinary tech company building an all-in-one operating system for animal hospitals. Fresh off a $23M Series B, they're scaling their brand and customer engagement across North America.
This is a content-creation-focused role centered on video editing and social media strategy. You'll own Digitail's social presence across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn, creating platform-native short-form video content (reels, YouTube Shorts, behind-the-scenes clinic footage) that drives engagement and audience growth. You'll film, edit, and publish independently using tools like CapCut, Descript, and Canva—no waiting for a production team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Producing short-form video with motion graphics and animation where appropriate
- Interviewing veterinarians, practice managers, and clinic staff to capture authentic stories
- Developing and managing a content calendar balanced across product education, customer stories, humor, and thought leadership
- Tracking performance metrics (reach, engagement, saves, shares, follower growth) and experimenting with new formats and trends
- Traveling to veterinary conferences, trade shows, and customer clinics (10–20% travel) to capture on-location content
- Writing customer case studies, newsletters, and webinar content using Claude AI tools to accelerate the writing process
- Repurposing long-form content (podcasts, webinars, case studies) into snackable social formats
You'll work in a creative, collaborative team with a customer base that genuinely loves the product and is eager to share their stories. The role emphasizes editing craft, platform-native thinking, and data-driven experimentation—kill what doesn't work, double down on what does.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Elite, hands-on video editing skills; ability to cut genuinely great short-form video without hand-holding, with obsessive attention to pacing, sound design, captions, and the details that separate polished from merely posted
- Real social media savvy with specific examples of posts, videos, or campaigns you created that grew an audience or drove engagement; deep fluency in how Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn work differently
- Strong, witty writing instincts for captions, hooks, CTAs, and community responses; ability to write longer-form pieces like case studies and newsletters
- Proficiency with Claude, GPT, or another LLM as part of everyday workflow
- Self-starter who manages own calendar, hits deadlines, and doesn't need direction on daily content
- Willingness to travel across North America 10–20% for live event and customer site content capture
- Experience with motion graphics, basic animation, or visual design is a plus
- Bonus: background in healthcare, pet care, or mission-driven consumer/B2B brands
