Tensec is a fintech enabling SMBs to access global transaction banking solutions for cross-border trade. Founded in 2023 and backed by top VCs (Quiet Capital, Costanoa, Coinbase Ventures), the company is building a world-class team to disrupt the $50 trillion cross-border B2B financial services industry.
You'll lead content strategy and execution for go-to-market, reporting to the Global Head of GTM. Your core mission: make Tensec's deep operational expertise public at scale, primarily on LinkedIn where your target buyers (freight forwarders, trading companies, logistics operators in Brazil and Mexico) congregate.
Key responsibilities:
1. Build the content engine: Extract ideas from busy executives and turn them into published work repeatedly without becoming a bottleneck. You'll design a system that scales from a small group toward the whole leadership team, maintaining distinct voice for each author as volume increases. The hard part isn't writing—it's extraction and voice consistency.
2. Write original thought leadership under your own name: Pieces only Tensec can write—how cross-border FX actually works, original data from company flows, unglamorous mechanics of cross-border payments. You'll own the company page and establish a distinct point of view so that when Brazilian freight operators think about FX monetization, they think of your ideas.
3. Measure impact honestly: Build attribution and reporting that survives audit. You'll track pipeline influence and resist inflating numbers for deck appeal.
4. Navigate compliance: Work closely with the compliance team to operate within regulatory constraints of licensed fintech operations. Legal will provide standing rules; you escalate only genuine edge cases.
You'll use AI heavily as a force multiplier—the judgment to distinguish genuinely good AI-assisted work from competent mediocrity is the core skill we're hiring for. Positioning and messaging are pre-signed; you're staffing a function, not plugging a gap. You report to a hands-on GTM leader who'll be in the work with you, not reviewing quarterly.
The role is hybrid; Bay Area candidates are expected in Monterrey offices 3 days per week.
