Veeva Systems, a $3B+ SaaS leader in life sciences industry cloud, seeks a Managed Services Consultant for its Professional Services Organization based in Dalian, China. You will serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert for Veeva Commercial Cloud solutions to pharmaceutical customers in the region.
In this role, you will provide post-implementation application consulting and technical administration, acting as the primary point of contact for customer success. Key responsibilities include: gathering and analyzing business requirements to translate them into practical system solutions; assessing customer needs against Veeva product capabilities and recommending best-fit configurations; implementing system changes to meet evolving customer demands; and serving as a Tier 2/3 technical support resource for complex issue resolution and root-cause analysis.
You will proactively share industry and product best practices, educating customers on effective use of Veeva solutions and enabling their teams to manage systems independently. You'll support ongoing business-as-usual administration including user management, security, territory management, reporting, integrations, and data loading. Additionally, you will identify continuous improvement opportunities to enhance system performance, operational efficiency, and customer experience.
You will partner closely with Veeva product teams, communicating customer feedback, identifying product gaps, and contributing to product enhancements based on real-world usage patterns.
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field; 5+ years IT industry experience; 3+ years hands-on software development with Python/Java; 2+ years customer-facing experience including requirements gathering, business analysis, and stakeholder communication; fluent English (verbal and written). Nice-to-have skills include consulting or business analysis background, customer service experience, familiarity with Veeva CRM/Network/OpenData platforms, and pharmaceutical/life sciences domain knowledge.
