KAYAK, part of Booking Holdings, is seeking a Conceptual Designer/Art Director to join its in-house creative team in London. This is a hybrid role requiring at least 3 days per week in the office.
You will develop creative concepts and visual executions across brand, performance, social, video, digital, out-of-home (OOH), and emerging platforms. Working collaboratively with writers, marketers, motion designers, and product teams, you'll translate product truths and business challenges into visually distinctive, emotionally resonant storytelling that cuts through in a competitive market.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conceptualizing and executing creative work from brief through final delivery
- Creating visually compelling campaigns across multiple channels
- Contributing to visual identity, campaign platforms, moodboards, and creative strategy
- Using testing and performance insights to refine creative and improve results
- Maintaining and elevating creative standards across the team
- Balancing creative ambition with commercial and performance objectives
You should have 5-7+ years of creative experience, ideally from an advertising agency or strong in-house creative environment. A strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking and execution across digital, social, film, OOH, and emerging formats is essential. You'll have natural instincts for typography, composition, motion, and storytelling, with excellent art direction and design craft.
The ideal candidate is curious, collaborative, and highly motivated. You're comfortable with data-driven creative refinement, passionate about branding and storytelling, and excited by emerging creative tools including AI. Strong communication, organization, and multi-project management skills are required. A genuine passion for travel and culture is a plus.
