Salary: USD 94,350 - 119,416 / annual

Spring Health is seeking a Compensation Analyst to join the Total Rewards & People Operations team, reporting to the Director of Compensation & Equity. This hybrid role (1–2 days/week in NYC office) focuses on evaluating, benchmarking, and maintaining competitive total rewards programs to support rapid company growth. Key responsibilities include performing job evaluations and market pricing across all departments; partnering with People Operations, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders to provide data-driven compensation guidance; supporting equity program administration including grants, cap table updates, and vendor platform maintenance; and building AI agents or automated workflows to scale compensation data analysis and inquiry management. You will support annual merit, promotion, and incentive compensation review cycles; audit compensation data for equity, consistency, and regulatory compliance; maintain job structures and internal pay equity alignment; build dynamic models for compensation structure evaluation; and assist in crafting compensation communications and training materials. Success metrics include delivering accurate, data-backed salary benchmarks and offer recommendations within agreed SLAs; ensuring 100% data integrity across compensation and equity records; and maintaining and refreshing salary bands annually based on market movement and internal equity. Required qualifications: 2–4 years of progressive experience in compensation, total rewards, equity administration, or strategic HR analytics; strong analytical skills with deep Excel/Google Sheets proficiency including data modeling; demonstrated experience with external market survey data and job evaluation methodologies; high discretion handling confidential pay and equity data; clear written and verbal communication; and working knowledge of federal, state, and local pay equity regulations. Nice-to-have qualifications include Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation or coursework in progress, and experience administering compensation and equity tools within modern platforms such as Workday, Carta, Greenhouse, or Lattice.
