As Communications & Marketing Manager for Japan, you will set the standard for marketing and PR in this hyper-growth environment. You'll maintain overall responsibility for local marketing strategy, press relations, public speaking engagements, and social media presence while working cross-functionally to raise awareness of Sierra's platform. You'll be a key member of Sierra's global marketing and communications team, pitching in on broader initiatives as needed.
You bring deep knowledge of Japan's tech and business environment, combined with entrepreneurial scrappiness and a problem-solving mindset. You move quickly and stay calm under pressure, delivering high-quality work consistently. You're a creative thinker who can set new standards for enterprise PR and drive meaningful conversations. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with excellent judgment and professionalism to navigate ambiguity and handle sensitive initiatives. You have a track record in marketing, PR, journalism, or government communications, and you thrive as a collaborative team player with low ego who builds strong relationships at all levels.
