Airbound is building the world's most efficient aircraft and drone delivery systems from the ground up, aiming to reduce delivery costs from ₹100/km to 10 paise/km. The company is redefining aerospace engineering and scaling delivery infrastructure at an unprecedented level.
As Communication Designer, you'll own visual storytelling and design execution across all company touchpoints. Working directly with the Marketing Lead, you'll create compelling visuals for product launches, flight demonstrations, advertising campaigns, social media, events, presentations, and employer branding. Your role bridges technical complexity and visual impact—translating engineering milestones into striking, accessible visuals that resonate with diverse audiences.
Key responsibilities include designing across multiple formats (print, digital, motion) and managing production details; creating internal and external presentations for customers, partners, and investors; collaborating cross-functionally with engineers and external vendors; and stewarding the Airbound brand language while pushing its boundaries when the work demands it.
You'll need minimum 4 years in communication design, branding, or graphic design, with proven experience in startups, hardware, or technical environments. Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, and Figma is essential. You should have a keen understanding of visual storytelling, typography, layout, and design principles, plus the ability to manage your own output with minimal oversight in a fast-moving environment with evolving briefs.
Bonus skills include motion design, video editing, photography, videography, 3D, or creative coding. Experience in B2B, deep tech, aerospace, or logistics is valued. The ideal candidate can translate engineer-speak into compelling narratives, takes pride in craft, and thrives in collaborative, non-templated work environments.
