Convene Hospitality Group operates a global portfolio of lifestyle hospitality brands focused on creating spaces and experiences for gatherings of all kinds. The Commissions Analyst will join the UK Finance team to support the centralization of third-party commission processing and timely payment remittance.
The role involves verifying client records for commissionable amounts, processing commission payments through internal systems, and communicating payment status to internal and external stakeholders via standardized reporting. This position is crucial for managing cash flow and maintaining strong client and agent relationships, reporting directly to the Director of Finance, UK.
Daily and weekly responsibilities include managing the centralized commissions inbox, executing end-to-end commission processing to ensure invoiced amounts align with third-party agency agreements, reviewing subledger data in Salesforce to identify inaccuracies, communicating with internal commercial and operations teams on commission invoice status, liaising with external agency stakeholders, supporting weekly Accounts Payable batch payment runs, and partnering with technology teams to identify manual processes that could be automated.
Monthly tasks include supporting month-end close activities and opining on commission invoice data integrity.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong attention to detail, proficiency in data analysis and management, proven ability to work with financial systems (particularly Salesforce and Microsoft Excel), and effective communication skills for resolving payment inquiries with both internal and external stakeholders.
