Checkout.com is a global fintech platform powering over 10 billion transactions yearly for more than one billion shoppers. The company works with major brands like eBay, Spotify, Klarna, Uber, and Sony to enable seamless digital payment experiences at scale.
You will serve as the technical owner throughout the partner integration lifecycle. Your responsibilities include:
- Lead technical discovery with partners and manage the selection and Statement of Work (SOW) process for System Integrators building new integrations
- Manage technical projects from conception through deployment
- Act as the primary interface between partnerships and product/engineering teams, both internally and externally
- Provide subject matter expertise on platforms for merchants, assist with RFPs, answer technical questions, and escalate issues to partner technical contacts
- Advise partnership and product teams on technology trends, integration gaps, future features, and platform roadmaps
- Serve as a technical evangelist for platform partners internally and externally
- Build integrations into tech stacks using APIs
- Conduct debugging, UAT testing, and code reviews

QUALIFICATIONS:
- 8+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Partner Engineering, Implementation Engineering, or similar role (payments industry experience is a bonus)
- Knowledge and experience working with eCommerce platforms, subscription management platforms, and ERPs
- Highly familiar with API-based integration methods
- Development experience in frontend and backend web technologies (JavaScript, PHP, C#, or similar)
- DevOps experience from both technical and customer solutions perspectives
- Strong communicator able to explain high-level concepts and drill into technical details with clarity
- Confident collaborating with product and engineering teams
- Highly organized with ability to prioritize shifting workloads and responsibilities effectively
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English
- Prior experience building and scaling platform integrations is essential; existing platform-specific industry knowledge and network are valuable bonuses
