Join Deliveroo's Global Supply Chain team as a Commercial Manager reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager. You'll establish unified, efficient commercial strategies for physical goods, logistics, and courier equipment supply chains across global operations spanning DoorDash, Deliveroo, and Wolt.
In this hybrid London-based role, you'll own sourcing strategy and execution across warehousing, last-mile fulfillment, apparel, manufacturing, and consumables. You'll translate category strategies into actionable sourcing plans, lead competitive sourcing events using spend analytics and total cost of ownership (TCO) modeling, and build robust negotiation positions focused on unit cost, freight, duty, quality, and working capital impact.
You'll manage the complete contracting lifecycle in partnership with Legal, maintaining contract registers and enforcing renewal obligations and rebates. Day-to-day responsibilities include supplier performance management, establishing operational KPIs, conducting structured reviews, and managing Joint Improvement Plans. You'll mitigate supply chain risk through dual-sourcing strategies, financial risk assessments, and ethical sourcing compliance across manufacturing partners.
You'll partner with operational and logistics leadership to align requirements, streamline specifications, and build credibility across historically independent regional teams, handling complex commercial disputes and driving joint innovation.
Essential qualifications include significant supply chain sourcing experience with proven commercial value delivery in logistics, 3PL, or manufactured goods. You need demonstrated end-to-end competitive sourcing capability, hands-on contract negotiation with major international suppliers, and proven supplier relationship management. Strong analytical and financial acumen in TCO modeling, landed cost structures, and spend analytics is required, along with exceptional stakeholder influence across multi-region or cross-brand environments.
Nice-to-have experience includes apparel or hardgoods manufacturing sourcing, post-acquisition supplier consolidation, and familiarity with direct/inventory-based supply chains including international freight and customs dynamics.
