EVERY is a VC-backed food tech company using precision fermentation to create animal-free proteins for the global food and beverage industry. The company is scaling its groundbreaking egg protein products and seeking a Commercial Lead to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth.
In this role, you will own the full commercial cycle: identifying and pursuing high-value customers in food and ingredient applications, translating customer needs into product solutions with R&D and applications teams, and supporting customers through supplier qualification and scaling to purchase orders. You'll navigate complex organizational structures to engage decision-makers across R&D, Marketing, Procurement, and Leadership. You'll develop and execute outreach strategies across priority categories and regions, manage sales pipeline forecasting with accuracy, and collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product Development, Supply Chain, and Technical teams to deliver seamless customer experiences. You'll represent EVERY's brand externally to customers, distributors, and partners, articulating functional, cost, and sustainability benefits. Additionally, you'll feed market intelligence and customer feedback back into the business to inform product development and strategic direction.
This is a hands-on, entrepreneurial role in a fast-moving startup environment where you'll have direct access to leadership and the opportunity to shape the company's commercial trajectory during a critical growth phase.

- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills; ability to influence across technical and commercial audiences
- Strategic and analytical mindset; ability to translate technical value into business outcomes
- Self-starting, hands-on, and comfortable thriving in ambiguity with speed
- CRM experience (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Food Science, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Authorized to work in the United States
Nice-to-have: Experience with fermentation-derived proteins or specialty food technologies; background in high-growth or startup environments; existing network in food and ingredient R&D or procurement; experience managing or mentoring inside sales or business development teams.
