Salary: USD 150,000 - 210,000 / annual

As a Commercial Field Engineer in the pre-sales function, you will serve as a technical advisor and champion for CodeRabbit customers. You'll partner closely with Account Executives, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to help customers understand and appreciate the value of the CodeRabbit platform. Key responsibilities include: - Collaborating with Account Executives to understand customer requirements and develop customized technical solutions - Driving compelling demos and impactful Proof of Values (PoVs) to showcase platform value - Responding to security questionnaires and addressing customer technical concerns - Providing cross-functional feedback to product and engineering teams to improve the customer experience - Staying current with industry trends and emerging AI-powered development tools - Contributing to internal documentation, playbooks, guides, and best practices - Supporting the transition from pre-sales to post-sales to ensure smooth customer onboarding This role is ideal for technically curious professionals passionate about AI-powered solutions in the software development lifecycle (SDLC). You'll work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment focused on customer success. Requirements: - 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role - Hands-on passion for helping customers succeed with the CodeRabbit platform - Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple customer needs simultaneously - Working experience with software development tools and platforms - Comfortable working with command line - Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong sense of ownership, self-motivation, and eagerness to acquire new skills and solve new problems - Willingness to uplevel peers' knowledge and skills through mentorship, training, and shadowing Bonus qualifications: - Experience with container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes) - Infrastructure as code experience (e.g., Terraform) - CI/CD tools experience (e.g., GitHub Actions)
