Neara is building AI-powered digital twins of electricity grids to help utilities stress-test infrastructure, optimize investments, and build resilience against extreme weather. The company uses advanced machine learning and physics-enabled simulations across four continents. As Commercial Director for Enterprise Accounts, you will lead and develop the Account Executive team for an assigned US region, owning regional pipeline, revenue, and growth targets in partnership with the Americas VP Sales. You will own the regional sales process end-to-end—defining qualification criteria, stage definitions, deal inspection, and forecast accuracy—and hold the team accountable to consistent execution. Key responsibilities include: - Building and running account planning cadence for top-priority enterprise accounts, with clear whitespace, stakeholder, and expansion plans reviewed on a regular rhythm - Driving adoption of the GTM scorecard as a shared source of truth for performance, leading indicators, and coaching priorities - Designing and running onboarding for new Account Executives, with direct accountability for measurably shortening time to first qualified pipeline and first closed deal - Establishing a consistent coaching rhythm of 1:1s, call reviews, deal reviews, and skills development to lift performance across new and tenured reps - Supporting your team in strategic deals as coach, strategist, and executive sponsor—shaping deal strategy, unblocking stalled cycles, and joining critical customer meetings - Partnering with ABM Marketing Managers to strategize and execute regional account-based marketing campaigns - Building collaborative, team-oriented culture across the Americas region as the company scales toward $100M in GTM ARR - Developing expertise in regional market priorities to operate comfortably with utility engineers and C-suite executives - Traveling frequently to customer sites and industry events, including speaking on Neara's behalf - Creating regional user groups and industry events that build structured customer feedback loops and guide the product roadmap REQUIREMENTS: - 7+ years in enterprise SaaS sales with strong understanding of subscription-based models and complex, multi-stakeholder B2B sales cycles - Proven experience leading and managing enterprise sales teams with consistent record of delivering against team revenue targets - Demonstrated success implementing scalable sales systems (sales process, account planning, forecasting discipline, performance scorecards) across a team of 10+ reps; experience building systems from the ground up strongly preferred - Proven track record onboarding and ramping new sales hires with clear point of view on shortening time to productivity - Genuine coaching ability: can diagnose why a rep or deal is stuck and change the outcome through structured feedback and development - Comfortable operating in data-driven sales environment—CRM hygiene, pipeline analytics, and leading indicators are tools you use, not chores you delegate - Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport with customers and internal team - Familiarity with geospatial technology, GIS, Digital Twin, and LiDAR applications is advantageous - Current and unrestricted working rights required; visa sponsorship not available
