The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will design, implement, maintain, and continuously improve cloud infrastructure and operational services across AWS and hybrid environments. This role focuses on delivering secure, scalable, resilient, and highly available platforms while driving automation, monitoring, and operational excellence across the organization. Key responsibilities include: - Design, deploy, maintain, and support AWS cloud infrastructure and services - Build and support hybrid infrastructure solutions across cloud and on-premises environments - Support and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation - Monitor platform availability, performance, and reliability using Datadog and observability tools - Troubleshoot infrastructure, cloud, and operational issues across production environments - Perform platform maintenance including patching, upgrades, capacity planning, and performance optimization - Utilize Git-based workflows for infrastructure management and collaboration - Manage operational activities through Jira and established change management processes - Develop and maintain technical documentation, standards, and operational runbooks - Leverage automation, scripting, and AI-assisted tools to improve operational efficiency and service reliability - Collaborate with Engineering, Security, and Support teams to maintain secure and highly available services Required skills and experience: - Experience designing and operating AWS cloud infrastructure - Linux administration and troubleshooting skills - Understanding of networking, compute, storage, security, and cloud operations - Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code concepts and tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) - Experience with monitoring and observability platforms, preferably Datadog - Git-based source control workflow experience - Jira or similar work management platform experience - Automation and scripting tools familiarity - Familiarity with AI-powered tools for troubleshooting, automation, and documentation - Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills Desirable experience includes Docker, ECS, Kubernetes, EKS, Ansible, VMware, Windows Server, hybrid infrastructure environments, cloud migration and modernization initiatives, and ITIL-based operational processes.
