Arista Networks is seeking a Cloud Business Manager to establish and lead business and program management operations in Guadalajara. This is a multifaceted role combining project-management discipline with deep knowledge of products, processes, and customer-facing operations.
You will coordinate cross-functional activities across Order Management, Planning Management, Customer Service, and Manufacturing-related processes, serving as a critical connection point between customers, Sales/Account Management teams, and internal operational teams. The role has global scope, managing relationships and activities associated with global accounts (primarily US-based customers), and you will operate within a predominantly remote global team while based in Guadalajara.
As one of the first individuals performing this function locally, you will help establish operating precedents, bringing structure, documentation, process discipline, and continuous-improvement practices to support future team growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate cross-functional activities related to customer programs, business operations, and cloud-related processes
- Manage and follow up on activities across Order Management, Planning Management, Customer Service, and Manufacturing operations
- Serve as coordination point between customers, Sales/Account Managers, internal operational teams, executives, and international stakeholders
- Translate customer and business requirements into clear actions, priorities, owners, timelines, and follow-up items
- Monitor commitments, deliverables, operational risks, and dependencies across multiple workstreams; escalate issues appropriately
- Partner with Sales and Account Management to ensure customer priorities are understood and connected to internal execution
- Analyze operational and business information to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and improvement areas
- Prepare and maintain reports, dashboards, and business information supporting decision-making and operational visibility
- Maintain strong documentation and process discipline
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, operating processes, efficiency, and cross-functional collaboration
- Work with high autonomy, ownership, and prioritization in a dynamic, international environment
- Help define processes, standards, and best practices for the Cloud Business Manager function in Guadalajara
- Contribute to onboarding, mentoring, and development of additional team members as the local operation grows
Requirements:
- Technical background in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred; engineering degree helpful but not mandatory
- Professional experience in technology, networking, cloud, data center, electronics, high-tech manufacturing, or comparable complex product/service environment
- Solid experience in program/project management, business operations, customer programs, or comparable cross-functional management role
- Demonstrated understanding of Order Management, Planning Management, Customer Service, Manufacturing Operations, and Business Operations
- Experience working with global teams and/or international customers, preferably requiring frequent cross-functional coordination
- Highly autonomous, independent, and accountable with strong sense of ownership
- Professional, quality-oriented, and process-minded with strong attention to documentation and follow-through
- Strong problem-solving and rational-thinking skills; ability to structure complex situations and determine practical next steps
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams simultaneously
- Comfortable connecting Sales/Account Management with operational and technical teams
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to work effectively with executives, customers, and multidisciplinary teams
- Curious and improvement-oriented with proactive approach to identifying better ways of working
- Collaborative and willing to provide additional support when business priorities require it
- Working knowledge of Power BI and business reporting/analytics tools
- Experience with Oracle NetSuite or comparable ERP/business management systems
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace
- Excellent written and verbal English and Spanish; fully bilingual communication capability expected
- Mandarin Chinese is a plus
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in cloud networking, data center infrastructure, networking products, electronics, AI infrastructure, or high-tech manufacturing
- Previous experience as Program Manager, Business Manager, Operations Manager, Customer Program Manager, or similar multifunctional position
- Experience establishing or scaling a new team, function, or operation
- Experience providing leadership, mentoring, or onboarding support to other team members
- Experience in fast-moving product/service environment; strong candidates from adjacent industries may be considered
