NeueHealth is seeking a Clinical Program Director for Pharmacy Solutions to develop and manage pharmacy clinical pathways that support value-based care delivery across their network of owned clinics (Centrum Health, Premier Medical) and affiliated providers.
In this director-level role, you will lead cross-functional teams to design and maintain pharmacy decision-support pathways within NeuePulse Guide, NeueHealth's clinical decision support tool. Key responsibilities include:
• Collaborating with the Medical Director to develop comprehensive pharmacy pathways for various health conditions, incorporating dosage adjustments, contraindications, drug interactions, side effects, special population considerations, and allergy management.
• Maintaining and updating the pharmacy database within NeuePulse Guide, ensuring clinical accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Managing the NeuePulse Guide dashboard to drive physician alignment with evidence-based pathways and improve clinical outcomes.
• Analyzing high-cost patient data with the Chief Medical Officer and case management teams to identify medication optimization opportunities, generic drug recommendations (GDR), and polypharmacy reduction.
• Developing and maintaining the Centrum Health formulary and brand-vs-generic recommendations.
• Supporting clinical governance processes, including comprehensive documentation of clinical guidelines, evidence sources, version control, and review schedules.
• Ensuring all clinical guidelines comply with federal and state regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
• Measuring and evaluating program performance using clinical data and system usage metrics to inform ongoing refinements.
• Identifying quality and process improvement opportunities to optimize NeuePulse Guide utilization.
• Contributing to training materials, user guides, and clinical documentation; providing staff education as needed.
Required qualifications: PharmD degree and 10+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years developing and/or managing clinical programs, products, or services. Experience in clinical program management, guideline development, clinical compliance, utilization management, case management, or clinical research is preferred. You must have working knowledge of clinical guidelines, demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams on large-scale projects, and familiarity with highly regulated healthcare environments.
Key competencies include problem management and change control expertise, ability to influence without direct authority, strong written communication (particularly in clinical determinations), excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, self-motivation, and strong organizational/prioritization abilities to manage multiple competing initiatives.
