Hippocratic AI is building a generative AI platform designed for safe, autonomous clinical conversations with patients, achieving 99.9%+ accuracy through rigorous clinical validation. This Clinical Product Specialist role bridges clinical reality and AI capability, requiring a registered nurse (RN) to serve as the voice of frontline nursing within product and ML teams. You will execute clinical validation protocols, design and author test cases and gold standards for clinical scenarios, and identify safety risks and clinical inaccuracies in medical large language models. Your responsibilities include conducting systematic testing against high-stakes scenarios (medication questions, symptom assessment, escalation triggers, patient communication), maintaining detailed testing documentation, and building out a gold standards library that documents clinical best practices and nursing workflows. Beyond validation, you'll contribute strategic clinical input to product decisions—translating frontline nursing expertise into technical feedback on dialog flows, safety rail design, escalation criteria, and patient communication style. You'll conduct user research at health systems (25-40% travel), observing real patient interactions with the platform and gathering feedback from nurses and patients to inform model validation and product improvement. Success in year one means executing 2-3 full clinical validation cycles, authoring 30-50 test cases and rubrics, identifying 5-10 clinical gaps or safety concerns, influencing 3-4 product decisions with clinical input, visiting 2-3 health systems for direct feedback, and developing a rigorous approach to clinical testing. You'll work cross-functionally with ML researchers, product managers, and QA teams, communicating clinical findings clearly to technical audiences and learning how clinical requirements translate into technical implementation. This is hands-on, high-impact work where clinical integrity is treated as the most important feature. You'll grow your product expertise while specializing in clinical safety, taking ownership of accuracy and catching issues before release.
