Equip is a leading virtual, evidence-based eating disorder treatment platform founded in 2019. Equip operates in all 50 states and partners with most major health insurance plans, providing patients with dedicated care teams including therapists, dietitians, physicians, and peer/family mentors. The Clinical Partnerships Representative drives patient acquisition by building strategic relationships across a territory with healthcare and community organizations. This is a remote-based role with significant field engagement requirements (up to 40% travel, 2–3 days per week in-market). The position balances virtual and in-person meetings, requiring candidates to be based in Illinois or Wisconsin with strong preference for the Greater Chicago area. Key responsibilities include: creating strategies to maximize brand reach and provider relationships within the territory; cultivating new relationships through video calls, in-person meetings, events, and educational presentations in collaboration with clinical leaders; delivering on patient acquisition and admissions goals; managing CRM data and outreach efforts to demonstrate territory performance; planning and executing regional events; understanding territory-specific needs and positioning Equip as a solution; identifying and re-engaging inactive providers; collaborating with Referral Coordinators and Admissions teams; working cross-functionally with marketing, clinical operations, and payor partnership teams; identifying local sponsorship opportunities and representing Equip at conferences. The role requires comfort with remote work, high autonomy, and self-motivation. Travel includes occasional overnight stays (approximately 2–4 per month). Candidates must have reliable transportation and be able to operate standard office equipment.
