Pharos is an AI-powered healthcare startup focused on improving patient safety in hospitals through advanced reporting and analytics. The company raised $5M in seed funding (end of 2024) and is building AI systems to review clinical charts at scale, identify patterns, and help clinicians prevent avoidable harm—targeting the ~100,000 preventable deaths that occur annually in U.S. hospitals.
As Clinical Partner Architect, you will bridge Pharos' AI technology and clinical reality, leading the company's partner motion. This is a pivotal role combining implementation leadership, clinical workflow expertise, and impact measurement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end deployment with new health system partners, solving complex operational and technical challenges during rollout
- Map and tailor the platform to fit specific clinical specialties and hospital workflows; serve as the primary partner voice to product and engineering teams
- Define and track metrics proving platform value across operational efficiency, quality improvement, and patient safety outcomes
- Build deep relationships with hospital staff to ensure sustained engagement, rapid issue resolution, and continuous feedback
You will work in a high-agency, early-stage environment where you take ownership of ambiguous challenges, drive them from concept to execution, and directly influence company direction. Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience working at the clinical–technical intersection: EHR implementations, clinical data work, or healthcare software deployments
- Ability to communicate effectively with both engineers and physicians
- Problem-solving ability: capacity to untangle complex, nuanced health system workflows
- Data fluency: familiarity with clinical data structures, interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7), or standard EHR data models
- Deep, recognizable passion for improving lives through technology
- High agency and ownership mindset; comfort with ambiguity and early-stage startup dynamics
- Mission-driven orientation; energized by high-performing teams and meaningful impact work
