Marvin is seeking a Clinical Operations Specialist—a licensed therapist to bridge clinical expertise and operational execution. This hybrid role reports to the Clinical Director and does not require a traditional caseload; instead, you'll leverage your clinical background to support quality, documentation, care coordination, and cross-functional initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
**Member & Clinical Support**: Serve as a clinical resource for member issues, support pre-intake reviews, manage rematch escalations, handle clinical escalations beyond non-licensed staff scope, and conduct consultation hours as needed.
**Clinical Quality & Documentation**: Address documentation issues requiring clinical interpretation, support clinical review of incomplete diagnoses, participate in quality audits and improvement initiatives, and educate providers on documentation standards.
**Therapist Data & Clinical Metrics**: Collaborate with Product and Clinical Leadership on workforce and quality metrics, interpret metrics for full-time/part-time providers, identify trends in clinical quality, and partner with technical teams on reporting tools.
**Cross-Functional Representation**: Represent Clinical Operations in meetings across Product, User-Success, Credentialing, and Quality Committees, serving as a clinical liaison to other departments.
**Medication Management Operations**: Assist with rescheduling medication-management follow-ups, address workflow exceptions, support prior-authorization escalations, handle documentation requests (FMLA, disability), and coordinate member communication.
**Clinical Process Improvement**: Identify workflow improvements, collaborate with Product and Engineering on clinical input, translate clinician and patient needs into operational requirements, and help develop scalable workflows.
You'll work in a remote/hybrid environment with strong cross-functional communication skills, EHR system familiarity, and the ability to work independently.
**Requirements:**
- Independent clinical license required: LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or PhD/PsyD (or state equivalent)
- Minimum 4 years post-licensure clinical experience
- Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems required
- Comfortable working in a hybrid clinical/operational role (not traditional caseload-based)
- Strong cross-functional communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote/hybrid environment
