Everlab is seeking a Clinical Lead to establish and lead clinical operations for its UK market launch. As one of the first people on the ground, you will own the entire clinical engine: building the clinician network, designing results review and escalation pathways, and setting care standards. You will serve as the regulatory voice, owning relationships with the CQC (Clinical Quality Commission) and MHRA (Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency) to ensure compliance for both the clinical service and digital platform.
Key responsibilities include: establishing clinical operations (results review, doctor capacity, turnaround times, critical findings escalation); recruiting, contracting, and managing the UK clinician network; building and running the clinical governance framework (incident reporting, safeguarding, complaints, audit cycles, competency appraisal); standing up diagnostic partner relationships; and collaborating with the UK General Manager and Australian clinical team to define the UK programme (which tests, consultations, and care offerings to include).
You will work directly with the UK GM to shape the market model from day one rather than inherit an existing structure. The role requires high ownership, outcome-focused thinking, and comfort with ambiguity—much of what Everlab is doing has no settled precedent in UK healthcare.
Ideal candidates have clinical operations experience in regulated independent healthcare or healthtech; ability to build and scale from scratch; clinical credibility (typically a doctor, ideally with current GMC registration); regulatory fluency with CQC and MHRA; commercial instinct for partner relationships; and startup/scaleup experience. You'll be comfortable moving quickly with incomplete information, forming views, and taking advice where it matters.
Everlab offers hybrid working (2–3 days in office), full access to the Everlab health program post-probation, and an Employee Share Option Plan. The team is mission-driven, focused on building the future of preventive health and reducing pressure on the NHS.
