Heidi Health is an AI-powered care platform that works alongside clinicians to improve healthcare delivery. The company has scaled to support 2+ million patient visits weekly across 116 countries in just 18 months, backed by significant venture funding. As a Clinical Engineer Associate, you will be the technical bridge between customer needs and Heidi's AI platform capabilities. You'll own the complete technical lifecycle for customer deployments—from initial implementation through to a self-sufficient, thriving customer relationship. Working alongside Applied AI Managers, you'll translate clinical and operational requirements into custom agentic workflows that solve real-world healthcare problems. Key responsibilities include: - Collaborating directly with clinical and operational stakeholders to design and build custom workflows that align with actual care delivery processes - Serving as the escalation point for complex agentic issues, diagnosing problems, coordinating with engineering teams, and ensuring customer resolution - Leading technical demos, architecture discussions, and solution design for clinical AI workflows - Defining success metrics for deployed workflows and building evaluations to measure impact - Visiting partner clinics and hospitals to understand the teams and workflows firsthand - Managing trade-offs between building custom solutions, customizing existing workflows, and rolling out standardized knowledge flows - Conducting safety audits and recommending continuous evaluation refinements You'll have significant autonomy and ownership from day one, working on North America's most critical commercial challenges. The role offers the rare opportunity to directly impact healthcare delivery at scale while working with leading health systems and thousands of clinicians globally. REQUIREMENTS: - 3+ years in implementation engineering or customer-facing technical roles, ideally in SaaS, healthtech, or enterprise software - Ability to own ambiguous, high-stakes problems end-to-end without established playbooks - Strong communication skills—capable of explaining complex technical issues to both CTOs and clinical staff - Experience embedded with enterprise customers or health systems is a strong plus
