Enveda is seeking a Clinical Development Director to lead the clinical strategy for a first-in-class therapeutic candidate with potential across metabolism and autoimmune disease. This is a critical leadership role on the Asset team where you will own the core clinical development plan, design the first-in-human program, and build the regulatory pathway to transform a novel mechanism into a potentially transformational medicine across two therapeutic areas.
Key responsibilities include:
- Build the clinical development plan and first-in-human strategy from the ground up
- Design the Phase 1 protocol, including dose, endpoints, population, pharmacodynamic readouts, and operational considerations for testing across two therapeutic areas
- Shape the translational and biomarker strategy to turn preclinical mechanism into credible human proof-of-mechanism readout
- Support the path to IND and early regulatory strategy
- Run Advisory Boards that produce decision-grade insight and inform trial design
- Build the KOL and site network ahead of clinical initiation
- Engage thought leaders, physicians, PIs, and patients about the opportunity
- Contribute to platform narrative for investors and partners

- First-hand experience designing and running early clinical development, particularly proof-of-mechanism studies in immune-mediated disease
- Comfortable owning translational and pharmacodynamic strategy, not just trial logistics
- Clinically creative with strong strategic and scientific judgment
- Demonstrated commitment to patient advocacy and paradigm-shifting approaches
- Well-regarded in the community for substantive expertise
