Salary: USD 115,000 - 125,000 / annual
Kestra Medical is a cardiac wearable technology company founded in 2014, combining modern wearable technologies with proven device therapies for external and internal cardiac monitoring and management. The company has over 400 years of combined industry experience in cardiac medical device markets.
The Clinical Account Specialist (CAS) plays a critical clinical role within key hospital accounts, ensuring high-quality patient experiences and seamless coordination of cardiac wearable therapy. This position bridges clinical and commercial functions, focusing on patient-facing and provider-facing activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting pre-fitting conversations and initial patient fittings within assigned key accounts
- Collecting clinical documentation and coordinating with case managers for discharge timing
- Providing clinical in-services and training to hospital personnel on Kestra solutions
- Supporting EMR workflow setup within key accounts for streamlined order processing
- Managing local inventory forecasting and ensuring just-in-time availability for account needs
- Providing field-based follow-up tasks and supporting the renewal process
- Reviewing CareStation reports for patient-triggered episodes and communicating findings to providers
- Serving as a trusted clinical resource for clinicians and care teams
- Supporting SWO (Specialty Wearable Offering) growth and maintenance within established accounts
- Partnering with Sales and Territory leadership to maintain strong account relationships
The role requires frequent local travel to hospital accounts and occasional extended hours. The CAS will work in various office-like conditions and must reside in the assigned territory.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in a clinical science (nursing, physiology, biology) or related field
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in cardiology, electrophysiology, cardiac nursing, or cardiac medical device clinical support
- Demonstrated experience in patient education, cardiac disease management, or supporting cardiac care pathways
- Competency with Microsoft products, Salesforce, and remote patient monitoring systems
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across clinical, operational, and commercial teams
- Ability to work consistently in a hybrid/field-based model
- Must reside in the assigned territory
- Valid driver's license in state of residence with a good driving record
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior experience working in medical device and/or DME
- Minimum 2 years of industry experience in medical device, pharmaceuticals, or comparable healthcare setting
- Experience working closely with Sales Leaders and Territory Managers in the field
- Start-up experience with ability to execute on strategy with clear direction
- Mission-driven focus on improving heart failure patients' quality of life
