Salary: USD 120,000 - 180,000 / annual

Ceribell is a medical technology company transforming the diagnosis and management of serious neurological conditions. The Ceribell System is a novel point-of-care electroencephalography (EEG) platform designed for acute care settings and is deployed across hundreds of community hospitals, academic facilities, and major integrated delivery networks. The Clinical Account Specialist (CAS) is responsible for launching new hospital accounts and driving organic growth of the existing install base. This role combines clinical expertise with sales acumen, requiring 70–80% travel with a preference for candidates living near major airports. Key Responsibilities: Driving New and Organic Growth: - Expand Ceribell usage to additional acute and critical care centers within existing customer accounts - Collaborate with Territory Managers to launch Ceribell at new customer sites - Drive new product and technology introductions for existing customers - Build advocacy and identify champions within facilities using hospital data to validate and generate interest - Develop qualified lead funnels within the existing install base through formal presentations, peer-to-peer education, new physician training, and physician education initiatives - Manage upgrades and departmental expansions in existing accounts - Apply strong project management skills to support new account launches Clinical Training and Education: - Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel, and office staff on the clinical merits and proper usage of Ceribell products - Develop deep clinical expertise in Ceribell use cases and relevant patient populations - Troubleshoot workflow solutions for departments as needed - Partner with clinicians to identify and establish protocols for at-risk patient populations - Lead clinical teams through training sessions on workflow and applications Reporting and Administration: - Submit required reports and training documentation on schedule - Use Salesforce to manage administrative tasks - Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies - Work cross-functionally to ensure successful product deployment at customer locations - Collaborate effectively within field-based teams and maintain strong partnerships with regional Territory Managers Requirements: - 3–5 years of recent critical care sales experience, OR 5 years of medical device or pharma sales experience, OR RN background with industry experience supporting sales teams - Excellent communication and relationship-building skills - Creative and effective problem-solving abilities with strong organizational and strategic prioritization skills - Ability to assess and understand diverse stakeholder needs and manage cross-functional agendas - Confidence and expertise to challenge the status quo and influence change through consensus building - Driven and coachable mindset with innate desire to succeed and willingness to seek feedback - High integrity and grit - Bonus qualifications: start-up experience, experience with disruptive technology, medical device background, neuro ICU clinical experience, or sales experience
