WeTravel is seeking a Client Onboarding Specialist to join their Activation & Implementation team, supporting the scaling of their multi-day organizer platform. The role is based in Portugal but fully remote, with occasional business travel (1-2 times per quarter) for on-site client onboarding projects.
You will be the primary point of contact for new customers during their critical onboarding phase, helping them migrate content (reservations, photos, pricing, descriptions) and providing personalized training to ensure confidence with the WeTravel platform. This is a cross-functional role requiring close collaboration with Sales, Account Management, Product, and customers across multiple time zones.
Key responsibilities include: partnering with sales teams for customer success setup, identifying pain points and red flags proactively, building trips and migrating participant data, delivering hands-on training, managing multiple concurrent projects with attention to detail, and taking full ownership of each project to deliver additional value beyond scope.
You should be fluent in English (Spanish is a bonus), organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a customer-facing role. Strong project management skills are essential—you'll juggle multiple stakeholders and their expectations while maintaining focus on detail-oriented tasks. Teaching background, experience in travel tech, SMB SaaS, or prior roles in onboarding, customer success, or account management are valuable. Familiarity with HubSpot, Slack, Confluence, and Loom is a plus.
This is a full-time fixed-term contractor role offering unlimited paid time off, an annual Amsterdam HQ visit (2-4 weeks in WeTravel apartments), work-from-anywhere flexibility (up to 4 weeks per year), extensive paid family leave, three paid volunteer days annually, and a 2-week cross-functional onboarding program. Candidates must have legal right to work in Portugal; visa sponsorship is not available.
