Connecteam is a leading platform for managing deskless teams, trusted by over 80,000 businesses worldwide. The company provides an intuitive app that consolidates daily operations and team communication—from hiring and scheduling to training, tasks, and coordination—for frontline workers. Backed by $220M+ in funding from Insight Partners, Stripes, and Tiger Global, Connecteam is rapidly expanding globally. As Client Onboarding Manager, you will guide new customers acquired through partnerships through the complete implementation of Connecteam, from initial handoff through successful payroll launch. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role that combines project management, system configuration, payroll-process expertise, customer training, and cross-functional coordination. You will own the customer onboarding process by managing a portfolio of partnership-sourced customers from internal handoff through go-live and initial payroll stabilization. You'll build implementation plans centered on the customer's first clock-in date, payroll schedule, and go-live timeline. Key responsibilities include leading kickoff meetings, configuring Connecteam account settings and integrations, delivering training to clients and managers on platform usage and payroll workflows, and troubleshooting issues across the full workflow. You'll work closely with customers, partner Implementation Managers, and internal Connecteam teams (Sales, Support, Product, Integrations, Leadership) to ensure employee data, time tracking, PTO, payroll rules, and payroll system integrations are configured and validated correctly. The primary goal is delivering a smooth onboarding experience while ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time. Depending on account size and complexity, you may support customers through the first one to three payroll cycles. Success requires strong project management skills to juggle multiple implementations simultaneously, excellent communication and training abilities to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences, and the interpersonal acumen to navigate complex dynamics while maintaining trust across multiple teams. You must be tech-savvy, able to quickly learn software, troubleshoot issues, and understand integrations and data flows.
