Centivo is seeking a Claims Process Documentation & Training Specialist to design, document, test, and train claims workflows across the organization. This role bridges operations and learning, responsible for building clear, usable claims process documentation, developing training resources, and ensuring claims processes function as designed within core systems.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining end-to-end claims business processes and workflows in Confluence, testing claims workflows in Javelina and HRP systems to confirm proper functionality, and creating step-by-step documentation with screenshots for claims team members. You will own and manage the existing claims process documentation repository, building an intuitive structure and search taxonomy for accessibility. The role involves designing and delivering specialty claims training to support new processes, system changes, and operational initiatives, as well as supporting onboarding of new claims hires.
You will partner cross-functionally with POP, Core Platform, and PMO teams to ensure documentation aligns with new hire training and system configuration. As a subject matter expert, you'll provide quality review of training materials covering COB, adjustments, and corrected claims, advising on content sequencing. As needed, you may support claims operations by processing claims to assist with workload coverage.
Required qualifications include 3+ years of claims healthcare experience within a payer and/or TPA environment with strong understanding of medical claims processing and adjudication. You need 3+ years of demonstrated experience writing clear process documentation and/or developing training materials for operational teams, plus 3+ years conducting instructor-led and virtual training sessions. Experience testing workflows within claims systems and familiarity with Javelina and HRP platforms is essential; HRP claims processing experience is highly preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, attention to detail, and understanding of instructional design principles are critical. You should be able to translate complex payer/TPA claims processes into easy-to-follow documentation and learning tools.
