Brodie League is a fast-growing adult recreational basketball league with 50,000+ athletes across 20+ locations. As a City Launcher, you will own the complete market launch and ongoing growth for the Atlanta territory.
Your core responsibilities include: securing facilities and negotiating venue partnerships; recruiting and onboarding 24+ founding captains and free agents; building local community buzz through social media, outreach, and grassroots engagement; validating market demand through real metrics (pricing, fill rate, waitlist); and serving as the face of Brodie at every game night and community event.
You will manage the full sales cycle from cold outreach to gym owners through relationship-building with local basketball programs, coaches, parks, and community organizations. You'll develop outbound strategies via email, phone, LinkedIn, and in-person networking. You'll host open runs to convert curious players into committed free agents and teams, and drive the referral program to make captains and players your largest recruiting channel.
Beyond launch, you own season-over-season community health: retention, team count, waitlist management, and feedback loops. You'll partner closely with Operations on game-night execution while retaining full ownership of growth and revenue. As you stabilize your market and prove the model, you'll earn the right to expand into adjacent cities and grow your territory.
You'll also contribute to building the repeatable launch playbook and go-to-market strategy that future Brodie cities will use, continuously testing and improving messaging, positioning, and conversion tactics.
Requirements: 3+ years in sales, partnerships, community management, or growth; strong outbound and relationship-building skills; ability to manage conversations from first touch through close; credibility with both facility owners and players; self-motivation and autonomy; passion for basketball and sports culture; strong tech acumen; based in Atlanta with availability for evenings and weekends. Nice-to-have: existing network in local basketball community or startup/high-growth experience.
