TheFork, Europe's leading restaurant booking platform and part of the Tripadvisor Group, is seeking a Chief of Staff to the Chief Operating Officer. Based in Barcelona with global responsibilities, this role serves as the strategic right hand to the COO and their direct management team across 11 countries. You will be the central hub for the Global Operations organization, responsible for translating company-wide strategy into operational excellence. Key responsibilities include: **Executive Support & Strategic Advisory**: Act as a trusted advisor to the COO, preparing them for Executive Leadership Team meetings with detailed materials and actionable follow-ups. Manage communication flow—triaging inbound requests and preparing outbound communications—while maintaining real-time access to critical reports, dashboards, and risk assessments. Ensure decisions are communicated clearly across both B2B and B2C business lines. **Leadership Team Coordination**: Serve as the central facilitator for the COO's direct reports, optimizing collaboration and alignment. Organize functional meetings, cascade company strategies, coordinate OKR tracking, and provide advisory support on critical matters. Assist in headcount organization and resource allocation optimization. **Stakeholder Management**: Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across markets and functions—including Country Managers—ensuring Operations strategy aligns with local priorities. Act as a liaison between Operations and other functions/regions, ensuring decisions consider local context. **Budget Leadership**: Own the global Operations budgeting process, serving as the key contact with FP&A. Prepare, monitor, and manage headcount, travel, and direct cost budgets. Track performance and ensure accurate forecasting. **Strategic Project Leadership**: Lead high-impact, cross-functional initiatives from planning through execution. Facilitate steering committees, analyze complex data for actionable insights, and monitor outcomes through KPIs. You'll thrive in this role if you excel at problem-solving, attention to detail, and influencing without direct authority. The position requires 8-10 years of experience, ideally including strategic consulting, Chief of Staff experience, or business management in tech. A Master's degree in Economics or MBA is preferred. Some travel may be required.
