Aspire is a financial operating system for global founders, combining banking, software, and automation into a single platform. Backed by Y Combinator, Peak XV, and Lightspeed, the company serves over 50,000 startups worldwide.
You will serve as Chief of Staff to the Co-founder & CTO, acting as a trusted operator and right hand managing the growing Tech organization. This role spans unusual breadth: you'll have visibility across the entire organization, own problems that sit between teams, and step in wherever needed most. In a single week, you might design new operating processes, incubate product ideas, drive AI enablement programs, and represent the CTO in executive discussions.
Key responsibilities include: owning the operating rhythm of the Tech org by running cadences, planning cycles, reviews, and reporting to keep multiple squads aligned; acting as a force multiplier for the CTO by preparing him for what matters, driving decisions to closure, ensuring follow-through, and standing in on his behalf in executive conversations; leading special projects and cross-functional programs end-to-end from ambiguous problem statements to measurable outcomes; identifying and closing gaps by recognizing unowned work and taking it on proactively; serving as a trusted go-to person across the organization for senior leaders and individual contributors; and moving fluidly between operational design, product incubation, change management, and executive support.
You should have 5–10 years of experience, ideally from consulting, founding, or early-stage startup operations where you owned outcomes in unstructured environments. You need a track record of owning ambiguous, cross-functional problems end-to-end, driving them to concrete results without a playbook. Direct experience working alongside founders or C-level executives with real judgment calls is essential. You should demonstrate self-directed agenda-setting, the ability to earn credibility quickly with senior and technical people, and comfort managing multiple unrelated workstreams at a high bar.
Nice-to-have qualifications include fluency in product and engineering, understanding of product development lifecycles and how squads ship, hands-on AI building experience and the ability to drive AI adoption programs, and prior experience in fintech, technology, or high-growth startups.
