The Chief of Staff for Sales will report directly to the EVP of Revenue and serve as a strategic operational leader for the entire Revenue organization. This role bridges the EVP and cross-functional teams (RevOps, Sales, Marketing, Product) to drive execution, alignment, and strategy on critical revenue and go-to-market initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with the EVP and Revenue leadership to define GTM priorities, including pipeline targets, quota coverage, and headcount planning
- Supporting execution and strategic alignment on top Revenue initiatives across Sales, Marketing, and RevOps
- Managing Revenue organization operating cadences (weekly business reviews, forecast cycles, pipeline reviews) and ensuring follow-through on decisions
- Developing independent perspectives on ACV/bookings targets and identifying gaps in coverage, conversion, and capacity
- Facilitating Revenue leadership team meetings and managing action item follow-up
- Creating board materials, QBRs, and strategic documents on revenue performance
- Tracking pipeline, conversion, and attainment signals across verticals and segments, flagging risks and recommending corrective actions
- Leading high-impact strategic projects such as compensation design, forecasting infrastructure, and competitive response initiatives
Ideal candidates have 3-7+ years of experience in revenue/sales operations, GTM strategy, business consulting (Bain, McKinsey, etc.), or internal strategy/operations roles. Required qualifications include alignment with Podium's operating principles, willingness to work onsite in Lehi, Utah, and a Bachelor's degree or MBA. Experience with SaaS, Salesforce, revenue metrics, and forecasting models is essential. The role demands strong problem-solving abilities, clear communication, excellent project management, and comfort working in fast-changing, ambiguous environments.
