You will serve as Chief of Staff to the Chief Business Officer, working directly on the company's highest-priority growth initiatives. This is not a traditional administrative Chief of Staff role—instead, you will own problems end-to-end, build solutions, analyze opportunities, and drive measurable business outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
**Drive Strategic Growth Initiatives**: Partner with the CBO to identify, prioritize, and execute critical growth initiatives. Own strategic projects from hypothesis and analysis through execution, measurement, and iteration. Evaluate new markets, customer segments, products, partnerships, and business models. Conduct market, competitive, customer, and financial analysis. Build business cases and translate insights into clear recommendations. Help launch and operationalize new initiatives from 0 → 1.
**Operate Across the Business**: Work cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Product, Finance, Operations, and other teams. Serve as a connective layer between the CBO and the broader organization. Identify organizational and operational bottlenecks and develop practical solutions. Establish operating mechanisms, dashboards, metrics, and processes that create accountability and visibility. Lead projects where ownership is initially unclear and build the structure required for success. Step into emerging business needs and special situations.
**Turn Data Into Decisions**: Analyze business performance, pipeline, customer behavior, and market trends to identify opportunities and risks. Develop models, analyses, and dashboards that help leadership make faster, better-informed decisions. Bring structured thinking to ambiguous problems and distill complex information into simple recommendations. Track the impact of strategic initiatives and adjust plans based on results. Leverage AI, automation, and emerging technology to accelerate research, analysis, execution, and internal productivity.
The ideal candidate has the mindset of a future entrepreneur: intellectually curious, resourceful, comfortable with ambiguity, highly analytical, and energized by building from zero to one.
**Requirements**:
- Approximately 2–3 years of high-impact professional experience, ideally in management consulting, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, technology, startups, strategy, business operations, or another highly analytical environment
- Strong academic background from a top Indian university (IITs, IIMs, ISB, BITS Pilani, Delhi University, NITs, or other highly selective institutions)
- Exceptional creative, analytical, and structured problem-solving skills
- Strong business judgment with the ability to quickly understand unfamiliar industries, markets, and problems
- Comfortable working with data, financial models, business cases, and performance metrics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with senior executives
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple fast-moving priorities without losing attention to detail
- AI-native and technology-savvy, with curiosity around how emerging technology can transform business operations and growth
- Experience working in or closely with high-growth startups strongly preferred
- Bias toward action—prefer building a first version, testing, learning, and improving over pursuing perfection
- Low ego and comfortable doing whatever is necessary to get an important initiative across the finish line
- Ability to work U.S. business hours
