Float is Canada's intelligent financial operating system, combining modern financial services and software to help businesses spend, save, and grow. Trusted by more than 7,500 Canadian companies, Float provides high-limit corporate cards, automated expense management, next-day bill payments, high-yield accounts, and industry-leading support. The company recently raised $85 million in Series C funding and is backed by top-tier investors including Inovia Capital, Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives, and OMERS Ventures. As Chief of Staff to Float's SVP of Go-to-Market, you will be the closest strategic partner to the SVP, shaping the GTM operating model, cross-functional handoffs, and priority-setting processes. This is a builder's role where you'll move fluidly between big-picture strategy and hands-on execution. Key responsibilities include: owning the GTM operating rhythm (business reviews, OKR tracking, board-ready reporting); bridging strategy and execution across Product and GTM to ensure coordinated action; maintaining single sources of truth for key information; translating ambiguous priorities into structured plans with clear owners and timelines; driving cross-functional initiatives spanning Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, and Customer Success; acting as a trusted thought partner and occasional filter to help the SVP focus on what matters most; representing the SVP in leadership rooms with sufficient context to make sound decisions; and helping build the GTM organization as it scales. You are an activator who instinctively identifies where momentum is needed, brings the right people together, and facilitates conversations that turn ambiguity into clarity and ideas into execution. You bring 5+ years of experience combining management consulting (strategy or operations) with hands-on operating experience in GTM functions such as Sales, Marketing, Revenue Operations, or Business Operations. You have experience at top-tier technology companies or fintech, with strong understanding of GTM strategy in regulated, trust-driven markets. You are highly analytical and comfortable with data, but focused on driving decisions and action rather than building dashboards. You excel at bringing structure to ambiguity and have a proven track record of translating loosely defined problems into clear plans with measurable outcomes. You are an outstanding communicator who can shift seamlessly between board-ready narratives, executive briefs, and concise updates. You are AI-forward and relentlessly curious, continuously improving how you work and championing practical AI adoption. You thrive in high-growth environments where priorities evolve quickly.
