Nest Health is a Series A value-based care provider founded in 2022 by former Louisiana Secretary of Health Dr. Rebekah Gee and Rebecca Kavoussi. The company delivers comprehensive medical, behavioral, and social care to America's highest-risk families through an innovative family-based, in-home, and virtual care model. Services include primary adult and pediatric care, mental health and nutrition support, vaccinations, labs, acute visits, chronic condition management, and social services navigation.
The Chief of Staff role serves as a strategic thought partner and force-multiplier for the CEO and COO, acting as the organizing force behind executive and senior leadership teams. This is a high-impact position reporting directly to the CEO with close partnership with the COO.
Key responsibilities span four areas:
Executive Leadership Support: Orchestrate strategic time management for the CEO and executive team; manage schedules, agendas, and materials for internal and external meetings; plan and execute strategic conferences and company-wide events; provide strategic context for executive decision-making; function as a connector between organizational initiatives; lead and structure executive and leadership team meetings with clear agendas, productive discussion, and documented action items; own the operating cadence including meeting calendars, decision logs, and accountability for follow-through.
Stakeholder Management: Own investor relations strategy and execution including investor updates, board materials, reporting commitments, and day-to-day venture investor contact; manage relationships with philanthropic and grant funders including foundation program officers, family offices, and impact investors; support board and investor meetings with agendas, presentations, minutes, and follow-up; facilitate productive engagement between leadership and key external stakeholders (investors, foundations, health plans, government partners).
Strategic Development and Planning: Lead development, alignment, and tracking of OKRs; contribute to strategic planning initiatives; conduct research and analysis supporting executive decision-making; serve as central driver of enterprise-wide initiatives coordinating across functional areas.
Operations and Organizational Effectiveness: Manage special projects and drive organizational effectiveness.
Ideal candidates have experience or strong interest in fundraising and capital formation across venture, foundation, and grant channels. The role requires confident communication, excellent emotional intelligence, flexibility, and creative problem-solving. Success in a startup environment demands autonomy, accountability, self-sufficiency, and comfort with role breadth and rapid change.
