As Chief of Staff, you will partner closely with the CEO and cross-functional leaders in commercial, engineering, manufacturing, project development, and finance. You'll transform complex, ambiguous challenges into clear plans, actionable decisions, and measurable results. Key responsibilities include maintaining visibility into company priorities, risks, and key decisions; keeping the CEO informed through dashboards, briefings, and decision materials; supporting executive operating rhythms; and coordinating across teams to remove blockers and drive execution. You'll support strategic partnerships and commercial opportunities from outreach through execution, developing market research, account strategies, proposals, and meeting materials. You'll track priority deals, risks, and executive involvement while coordinating technical, commercial, legal, finance, and project teams. You'll analyze technical, commercial, and strategic questions; build market, competitive, financial, and scenario analyses; prepare executive briefs, board materials, proposals, and investor updates; and create concise, evidence-based writing. You'll lead cross-functional initiatives without a natural owner and evaluate and implement AI tools to improve research, analysis, writing, and workflows. Required qualifications: 6+ years in operations, engineering, product, strategy, or similar roles within hardware, deep tech, industrial technology, manufacturing, or energy companies (startup experience strongly preferred). Bachelor's degree or higher required; STEM degree preferred. You must be comfortable working with engineers and learning complex technical systems, have strong analytical skills including financial modeling and Python/Excel proficiency, and be a fast learner comfortable with short-cycle deep dives. AI fluency is essential. Excellent written communication, self-direction, adaptability, strong judgment, integrity, and collaborative influence across teams are critical.
