LeanData seeks a Chief of Staff to serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team. This is a high-impact operational leadership role designed as a two-year rotational position, after which the successful candidate will transition into a senior operating role within the company.
The Chief of Staff will act as an integrator across functions, owning the rhythm and execution of company-wide priorities. Key responsibilities include: partnering with the CEO on strategic planning and progress assessment against annual plans; coordinating and executing OKRs; owning quarterly business reviews (QBRs) including structure, metrics, and cadence; developing business cases and project plans for new initiatives; leading execution of high-leverage strategic initiatives; serving as temporary owner for experimental projects; and fostering cross-functional alignment across the executive team.
In the first month, you will onboard deeply into strategy and operations, shadowing key leaders and observing CEO and executive team workflows. By month three, you will implement OKR and weekly executive team meeting cadence, and recommend operational improvements. By month six, you will lead execution of strategic initiatives and own board preparation and QBRs.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned high-performing generalist with 6-8 years of strategy consulting and/or business operations experience. You bring world-class organizational skills, executive-level judgment, and emotional intelligence. Core competencies include strategic thinking, execution and rigor, organizational design and operations, emotional intelligence, communication and influence, and cross-functional leadership. You are humble, curious, detail-oriented, hyper-responsive, calm under pressure, and demonstrate sound judgment.
