goop is a lifestyle platform founded by Gwyneth Paltrow in 2008, now spanning beauty, fashion, food, editorial content, podcasts, TV shows, live events, and retail. The Chief of Staff reports directly to the Co-CEOs and serves as their strategic partner across three interconnected worlds: goop's core beauty and fashion business, Gwyneth's media presence and personal brand, and investment interests.
This is a high-agency, founder-mode role requiring exceptional context-switching ability. You will operate across time zones with global, cross-functional teams, translating Co-CEO priorities into clear action and ensuring alignment across the organization. Key responsibilities include:
**Co-CEO Partnership & Strategic Support**: Communicate Co-CEO priorities across the organization, act as gatekeeper and proxy in key meetings, synthesize insights to inform decision-making, and field/prioritize incoming requests and proposals.
**Operations & Execution**: Drive structure, efficiency, and accountability in fast-moving, complex environments. Own board, portfolio, and investment work. Build and maintain operational dashboards and workflows.
**Communication & Alignment**: Produce sharp, efficient memos and updates. Proactively manage critical relationships. Ensure clarity and momentum across the organization.
**AI-First Operations**: You are expected to be AI-native—building Notion dashboards, wiring together plugins and AI agents, and turning no-code experiments into real operational workflows without waiting for engineering support.
**Cross-Functional Leadership**: Support effective executive operations, help shape company-wide culture and communication, and work collaboratively with senior stakeholders.
You must be a thoughtful, proactive strategic partner with high emotional intelligence, sharp instincts, and the ability to read the room quickly. You operate with full alignment to Co-CEO thinking, communicate early and often, handle direct communication well, and maintain discretion with sensitive information and relationships. Strong writing, research, and organizational skills are essential. You are warm, steady under pressure, and action-oriented—you own and drive results rather than just advise.
