Finni Health is a YC-backed healthtech company that enables Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to operate independently by providing infrastructure for credentialing, payer contracting, revenue cycle management, HR, compliance, and integrated software. The company supports practices across a dozen states and is expanding rapidly in a market where families wait months for autism services.
This Chief of Staff role is for someone who wants to run things operationally. You will own two core areas: (1) the company's metrics and operating rhythm—defining KPIs, running weekly reviews, cascading quarterly goals, and managing the portfolio of 15+ concurrent strategic initiatives; and (2) taking real work off the CEO's plate permanently, including board materials, investor diligence, financing support, vendor relationships, and multi-state legal/compliance buildout.
Key responsibilities include instrumenting and fixing bottlenecks in credentialing and payer enrollment workflows, owning hard one-offs like new state launches and system migrations, and building operating discipline in a small, fast-moving team in a heavily regulated industry. Within 90 days, you'll establish a single source of truth for metrics, implement a functioning operating cadence, own the strategic initiative portfolio, and take over one major workstream end-to-end.
You should have 4–8 years in roles demanding rigor and speed (consulting, investment banking, PE/VC, or high-growth startup operations). You write exceptionally well, are genuinely strong analytically, operate with minimal direction, and are comfortable being the least expert person in the room while remaining useful. Healthcare experience (especially multi-state provider operations, payer contracting, or Medicaid) is a bonus. This role is a path to an operating position—running payer strategy, launching a new market, or owning a P&L—rather than a credential play.
